The core of the powerful automation in AppEagle Inventory is the Rules system. On the Settings page, there is a rule that applies to all listings that are not assigned to a custom rule. This default rule has all the same options as the custom rules.
There are three types of custom rules that sellers can create:
Percentage
The first rule type allows you to list a percentage of your available inventory. This ensures that all of your inventory is always listed on eBay or enables you to split your inventory across multiple marketplaces without overselling.
Fixed Quantity
The second rule type allows you to list a fixed quantity for an item regardless of real inventory. This enables you to list an item that you know will always be in stock regardless of what your inventory says.
Add or Subtract
The third rule type allows you to add or subtract a specified number from your real inventory. Subtracting from inventory will end the listing when inventory goes below a certain number. Adding to Inventory prevents the listing from coming down when Available Quantity reaches zero.
In addition to the options above, each rule has the option whether to relist listings when inventory is available and each rule can be deactivated without deleting it. Listings assigned to an inactive rule will be managed using the default rule. There is no limit on how many rules a seller can create but each listing can only be assigned to a single rule.
